Yorkshire Greens. Vegetable Processing Factory
In 2017 we were engaged to prepare and submit a comprehensive planning application for a vegetable processing factory, adjacent to the AD plant of GWE Biogas.
The planning application involved co-ordinating a large project team who provided supporting statements on technical matters such as ecology, archaeology and flood risk and drainage. The application was approved in summer 2017 and construction was completed in 2018.
Entirely fuelled by sustainable renewable energy from the adjacent AD plant, the factory is one of the UK’s first carbon-neutral food factories.
We are continuing to provide planning support for Yorkshire Greens with further applications anticipated to be made in 2022.
