Skipton Castle Woods Installations
Northern Planners have been engaged by the Woodland Trust to prepare and submit planning applications in support of a number of proposals at Skipton Castle Woods.
The Trust are looking to introduce additions such as sculptures to help tell the story of the wood through the centuries and to improve the ‘visitor experience’.
The first installations are a 'willow hunter' and 'stalking horse', in recognition of the ancient woodland’s medieval history. They have been carried out by Ripon-based willow workshop, Anna and the Willow and were installed at the Woods in autumn 2019, following planning approval.
